Because every child develops at their own pace every child receives a personal learning programme combining care and education. Our teachers plan whole class and individual activities to incorporate all the different levels and abilities. Consequently your child will become confident in their own learning as they prepare for school.

We’re licensed by the Ministry of Education for 25 children per session. Our small centre with excellent ratio of teachers to children means better learning.
Unique and Successful Preschool Programmes
Daily sessions alternate between Kindy Tweenz and Kindy Kidz. Children are grouped by age (youngest and oldest).
Kindy Tweenz and Kindy Kidz are right next to each other. The children enjoy the teachers leading them safely between the centres. Our unique programme treats the children to two specialist teams of early childhood teachers every day. Because long days can be tiring for children they remain stimulated with varied and fun learning activities.
When ready, children will move from the youngest to the oldest group. They then always remain with children their own age.

Literacy and Numeracy
We focus on the early concepts of literacy and numeracy. This provides a solid foundation for children’s progression to more formal reading, writing and maths. Some of our activities include:
- Reading, listening to and enjoying stories
- Learning number songs and finger rhymes
- Learning the alphabet and writing their name
- Telling stories then copying teachers’ writing
- Recognising numbers
- Counting objects and learning to count in order
- Matching objects, colours, numbers
- Puzzles and problem solving
Semi-structured Sessions
Our semi-structured programme incorporates all of these routines into each session:
- Group mat times, encouraging confidence to join in, listen and show respect for others
- Theme activities, which are topical and often initiated by the children so they have more interest
- Large and small group activities
- Individual one-on-one activities with teachers, particularly focusing on literacy and numeracy
- Active and quiet activities
- Creative activities such as painting, collage, sewing, printing etc.
- Collaborative activities such as construction blocks, Lego, drama, music
- Confidence building activities and those that develop co-ordination and gross motor skills
- Structured inside, outside and meal times
